– Registration Form now available!
In October 2014, we already informed you about the essence of the mandatory new German Minimum Wage Law (“Mindestlohngesetz), and about the new new rules that have to be especially followed by the transport and logistics industry. Finally and right before Christmas on December 23rd the mandatory form for registration was published in the internet.
From January 1st 2015 on, all companies seated outside Germany and doing transport within or to or from Germany need to register their workers that perform these transports on this specific form. The same obligation is posed on logistics companies seated outside Germany. As we already informed in our October blog, these companies and all German-based transport and logistics companies need to keep their salary and work documentation respective to their German works and services in Germany ready for inspection by the German Central Customs Office at all times.
